Thanks for trusting Inspector’s Auto Appearance with your vehicle. Whether you just left with a glossy new ceramic coat, crystal-clear tint, or a freshly detailed cabin, the work doesn’t stop when you drive off our lot.

A little bit of care on your end goes a long way in making sure your service lasts as long as possible. Don’t worry, though. We’re not talking about complicated routines or fancy products. Just a few smart habits, clear do’s and don’ts, and some friendly reminders to keep your investment looking its best.

Auto detailer cleaning the dash of a vehicle

A freshly detailed car feels almost too good to drive—but the best way to keep that feeling is a little maintenance between visits. Our auto detail packages are designed to give your ride a reset; here’s how you can extend that just-cleaned look.

Immediate Care (After Service)

  • Some carpets or seats may still be drying—crack the windows or run the fan to help air things out.
  • Surfaces that were dressed or conditioned may feel a little slick at first; that will settle quickly.

Ongoing Maintenance

  • Light vacuuming and quick wipe-downs between details go a long way.
  • Use sunshades to protect your dash and seats from UV damage.
  • All-weather floor mats help preserve carpets, especially in winter or during rainy seasons.

Longevity Expectations

  • Wax protection typically lasts about 3 months, while nano-seal protection can extend that shine and protection even longer.
  • A full interior + exterior detail is recommended about once a year to reset everything back to baseline.

Reminders

Plan for seasonal refreshes: a spring or summer clean to combat dust and UV, and a fall or winter clean to prep for road grime and moisture.

Man applying ceramic coating to car

Your paint is now rocking a high-gloss shield courtesy of IGL Kenzo ceramic coating. It’s slick, it’s shiny, and it’s built to last—but only if you give it the right kind of love.

Immediate Care (First 48 Hours)

  • Keep it dry: no washing, no sprinklers, no sudden monsoon showers if you can help it.
  • Hands off: avoid touching or wiping the paint while the coating cures.

Ongoing Maintenance

  • Hand washes only—skip the drive-thru car washes with spinning brushes.
  • Use pH-neutral soap and soft microfiber towels for washing and drying.
  • Avoid harsh cleaners or abrasive polishes (those will cut right through the coating).

Longevity Expectations

  • With proper care, your coating is backed by a 5-year warranty.
  • You’ll notice water beading and dirt resisting much longer than with wax.

Reminders

  • Schedule a yearly inspection to maintain your warranty and keep the coating performing at its best.
  • If water stops beading as strongly, that’s your cue to come in for a refresh.
Paint protection film being applied to SUV

Your Paint Protection Film (PPF) is designed to take the hits from rocks, road debris, and scratches, so your paint doesn’t have to. With LLumar films like Platinum (10-year warranty) and Valor (12-year warranty), you’ve got long-lasting, nearly invisible protection.

Immediate Care (First Few Days)

  • Hold off on washing for a few days to let the film settle.
  • Small bubbles or a light haze are normal as the film cures and will clear up on their own.

Ongoing Maintenance

  • Wash by hand with gentle soap and a microfiber mitt.
  • Avoid abrasive polishes or harsh chemicals.
  • Keep high-pressure washers away from the film edges.

Longevity Expectations

  • Valor film carries a 12-year warranty; Platinum has 10 years.
  • Both are engineered to stay clear, durable, and protective over time.

Reminders

Give the film a quick check every so often—if you spot lifted edges or damage, let us know so we can fix it early.

Window tinting technician cleaning newly installed film

Your new window tint doesn’t just look sharp. It also keeps your cabin cooler, protects your interior from UV damage, and gives you added privacy. Here’s how to make sure it performs for the long haul.

Immediate Care (First Few Days)

  • Keep your windows rolled up for 2–3 days while the tint cures.
  • A little haze or small bubbles may appear during drying—this is normal and will disappear as the film sets.

Ongoing Maintenance

  • Clean with ammonia-free glass cleaners only.
  • Use a soft microfiber cloth for wiping—avoid abrasive pads or scrapers.
  • Be mindful when loading cargo near tinted windows to avoid scratching.

Longevity Expectations

  • All FormulaOne and LLumar tint films installed at IAA come with a lifetime warranty for as long as you own your vehicle.
  • Your tint is engineered to stay clear, color-stable, and bubble-free.

Reminders

If you ever notice peeling, bubbling, or other issues, bring your vehicle back—your warranty has you covered.

Car with a damage windscreen

That chip or small crack you spotted is now filled, sealed, and ready to hit the road. Our auto glass repair service restores strength to your windshield and keeps minor damage from spreading.

Immediate Care (After Service)

  • Your vehicle is safe to drive right away.
  • To be extra cautious, skip high-pressure washes for the first 24 hours.

Ongoing Maintenance

  • Clean your windshield as usual with ammonia-free glass cleaner.
  • Expect to see a faint blemish where the chip was—this is normal and shows where the damage was sealed.

Longevity Expectations

  • A proper repair prevents the crack from spreading and adds years of life to your windshield.
  • The repaired spot will remain stable under normal driving conditions.

Reminders

If you notice a new chip, schedule a repair quickly. Addressing damage early saves you from needing a full windshield replacement later.

Auto glass technicians removing broken windshield

Your new windshield or window is installed, sealed, and crystal-clear. Our auto glass replacement service uses high-quality glass and proper calibration so you can get back on the road with confidence.

Immediate Care (First 24–48 Hours)

  • Wait at least 30 minutes before driving to let the adhesive set (we use a fast-cure, safe-drive-away-time urethane).
  • Avoid slamming doors—this can create pressure that disrupts the seal.

Ongoing Maintenance

  • Clean glass with ammonia-free cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth.
  • Check wiper blades—replace them if worn to avoid scratching your new glass.
  • Be gentle around mouldings and trim until you’re sure everything has fully set.

Longevity Expectations

  • OEM-quality glass is built to last the life of your vehicle, barring new damage.
  • IAA covers free chip repairs on your new windshield, so small dings don’t turn into big cracks.

Reminders

  • If you notice wind noise, leaks, or sensor issues after replacement, contact us right away so we can make it right.
  • For maximum protection, schedule prompt chip repair if new damage occurs—covered at no charge on IAA-installed windshields.
