Inspector’s Auto Appearance’s West Flagstaff location is the area’s top choice for vehicle detailing services. Beyond your basic detail, we offer complete detailing packages for cars, SUVs, trucks, vans, motorcycles, boats, RVs, and more.
One of our most popular vehicle detailing packages is our Interior Steam Clean. This package includes a full hand wash, vacuum, steam clean/degrease on all panels, cupholders, and plastics. We will also clean windows inside and out, and clean and dress your tires and rims for a polished look. Finally, we will shampoo seats and carpets or clean and condition all leather surfaces, leaving you with a vehicle that feels as good as new.
Our Executive Detailing package is perfect for auto enthusiasts and offers one of the deepest cleans available. It includes our Deluxe Detail, 1-stage exterior correction and polish, removal of seats, headlight and twilight polish and seal, IGL’s 1-year premier ceramic coat, and GlassParency’s 3-year glass treatment on the front two doors and windshield.

Ceramic Coating
At Inspector’s Auto Appearance’s West Flagstaff Location, we use Kenzo by IGL Coatings for our ceramic coating services. This is a 100% silica that offers the highest level of gloss and protection. It is backed by the official warranty offered by IGL Coatings and is supported by a certified IGL Coatings Master Applicator. When you run your hands across a Kenzo-coated car, you feel like you’re touching silk!
When our skilled and certified staff applies the coating, it provides a layer of protection between your car’s surfaces and environmental contaminants that could cause permanent damage. In addition, since there’s a higher ceramic content in IGL Coatings, the finish will be glossier and last longer than most of the other brands on the market. After being treated with Kenzo from IGL Coatings, your car will look brand new!
In addition to ceramic coating, we also offer LLumar Paint Protection Film. This is the most optically clear paint protection film on the market. This film provides an invisible shield between things like sand, salt, small road debris, insects, and more to prevent nicks and scratches.
Typically, we apply this film to the back of your mirrors, on the hood, bumper, door edges, fenders, and any other area of your vehicle that is vulnerable to damage.
We have a high-tech computer system that precisely cuts the film to the specific shape and size of the component of your vehicle, creating a perfect fit. That means we don’t have to make the cuts as we apply the film. LLumar Paint Protection Film is the perfect alternative to leather bras or plastic guards, which can actually cause damage to your vehicle’s paint job.

Window Tinting

About Inspector’s Auto
The story of Inspector’s Auto Appearance goes back to September of 1998 when founder Allen McCracken’s wife mentioned that she couldn’t find a decent auto detail shop. Ready for a new business venture, he decided to take matters into his own hands, opening the auto detailing shop originally named Inspector #9.
After a few years of growing Inspector #9 into a successful company, he was approached by two businesses in one day: an auto glass company and a window tinting business. Eventually, customers came to Allen for everything they needed for their vehicles!
After 23 years, the company has transitioned from Inspector #9 to Inspector’s Auto Appearance, and it continues to be one of the Flagstaff, Arizona area’s favorite local destinations for all things automotive.
About Flagstaff, AZ
Located approximately an hour and a half from the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff is a college town known for its extensive network of hiking trails, outdoor adventures, and of course, plenty of breweries. In fact, visitors and residents alike will enjoy the Flagstaff Brewery Trail, which takes you across town to the nine different breweries in Flagstaff!
(Pro tip: Before heading out on this adventure, be sure to print out your Flagstaff Brewery Trail Passport. Then, when you visit each brewery, you’ll get a sticker. Once you have all 9, take it to the Flagstaff Visitor Center to get your own commemorative pint glass as a souvenir.)
Of course, if you’d like to take advantage of the hiking trails, you will not be disappointed because Flagstaff has hundreds of miles for you to hike or bike. There are also plenty of climbing routes, geocaching, and canyoneering opportunities if that is more your speed. Several caves are located just a short drive away if you’re interested in exploring underground. You can also go explore the backcountry via ATV or horseback. Finally, there are plenty of opportunities for skiing over at Arizona Snowbowl when winter comes.
Beyond the great outdoors, Flagstaff is home to plenty of activities for the indoor-inclined. Our favorites include the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra and cheering on the Northern Arizona University Lumberjacks.
